Posted by Caryn On November - 4 - 2009

Frosty the Snowman with scarf, broomstick and corn cob pipe

The furry friends you can personalize and create at Build-A-Bear Workshop are cuddly, adorable, and fun.  More than just a stuffed animal, it’s an experience your child will cherish.  Take your child into a store to stuff, dress, and box up his new furry friend.  Or, if you’re in a hurry, check out the company’s “Gifts on the Go,” a selection of “customized furry friends that are stuffed, dressed, and conveniently packaged in gift sets.”  Read my full review at Rockin’ Mama.

Sit down with a hot cup of cocoa and enjoy this enchanting and adorable animated film.

“A young boy embarks on the holiday journey of a lifetime in the city that never sleeps in the charming animated movie Little Spirit: Christmas In New York.  Moving to a new house in a new city is never easy, but when Leo’s dog (and best friend) Romona is accidently lost in Central Park, Leo is determined to find his furry little friend in time for Christmas. Feeling lost and alone, a magical spirit takes him on an incredible adventure and Leo soon learns that this new city isn’t as scary as it seemed – and that the true meaning of Christmas may just be found in the people he meets along the way.”

Children’s room and wall decor has never been more fun!  Wallables 3D wall decor brings color and play to a child’s room. They also play music, teach the alphabet, and glow in the dark. We like them because they’re easily removable.  The company recently launched their green line, featuring soy-based wall decor items.  Read my full review at Rockin’ Mama.

About Me

Motherhood is full of laughter and tears and surprises. It’s the most wonderful thing I’ve ever done. What started out as a way to chronicle my son’s first year of life has evolved into Rockin’ Mama. Because despite the fact that being a mom is the hardest thing I’ve ever done, it rocks! I’m a NICU nurse by day, blogger by night. My husband and I savor the warm Southern California sun. We love to travel…so much so that we spent 8 weeks backpacking Europe before moving to Edinburgh, Scotland where we found out I was pregnant with my son. I am a babywearing, co-sleeping, breastfeeding mama whose passions include health, fitness, and all things eco-friendly. If I’m not running after my 2 year old son…or my husband…you can find me frequenting the local tea room, shopping, baking, or reading. We’re also expecting number 2 in January!
